Alvaro Morata confirms his injury timetable on social media

As soon as Alvaro Morata was subbed out of Chelsea’s match against Man City last weekend, Blues fans were fearing the worst.
Morata has been sublime for Chelsea in the opening months of the season, following his summer move from Real Madrid.
Heading into the Man City game, Morata had six goals in six games in the Premier League.
But the Spanish international indicated he couldn’t continue on the pitch ten minutes from the interval, and on Monday the striker found out what’s wrong.
As reported in Tuesday’s Guardian:
The Spanish Football Federation said Alvaro Morata had sustained a myofascial injury to his hamstring muscles, an injury which could keep the forward out for more than a month.

But on Tuesday afternoon, Alvaro Morata has taken to social media to announce his own injury comeback timetable.
Morata was noticeably wearing his Chelsea training top at the time of his update. He wrote:
I have no time to lose! Working hard towards recovery! (Target emoji) Crystal Palace.
For the record, Chelsea return to action in the Premier League on October 14 with an away match at Crystal Palace.

Champions League & Man United

While Morata may be positive about his injury situation, others are more cautious.
Should the Chelsea miss the next six weeks, for example, he’d be absent for a few massive matches.
Morata would be absent for Chelsea’s crucial Champions League double-header against AS Roma. Although, it’s worth noting that Chelsea have won their opening Champions League matches against Qarabag and Atletico Madrid.
As for Chelsea’s Premier League fixtures, Morata may be sidelined for games against Crystal Palace, Watford, Bournemouth and Manchester United.
Chelsea are also due to face Everton in the League Cup, although Morata would have been unlikely to feature in that game.
